Approximate Show Times
Gates open at 08:30, main airshow starts at 11:00 but other entertainment will commence before hand. Air show is completed at approximatley 3:30pm.
Entry Prices for the Airshow, Sunday March 4th at Matamata Airfield, SH 27 Waharoa
The entry prices for the airshow and carnival are $10 per adult (aged 16 and over), and free for children (under 16). We also have parking available at no charge. A high percentage of the proceeds from the Airshow are going towards the Matamata Piako district hospitals.
Stall Applications
We are now accepting applications for businesses & organisations who wish to set up a stall at the airshow. More details and the application form are available here.
Conditions of Entry to Site
- No Alchohol is permitted on site. Any person under the influence of drugs or alchohol will be removed from site.
- Please park in designated areas and lock your vehicle. The organisers accept no responsibility for lost or stolen property.
- Disabled parking is provided near the main entry gate however no parking is permitted in the main viewing and public areas. Please present your disabled parking authorisation card at the entrance gate.
- Please no dogs on site. If you do bring a dog you must at all times have it on a short lead and under control NO EXCEPTIONS
- All visitors must remain behind rope barriers at all times and must obey officials and wardens instructions as required.
- Do not touch displays unless approved by the supervising person.
